Labor and Visa Cancellation (Inside UAE)

When an employee resigns, is terminated, or completes their contract, the company must cancel their labor contract and residency visa.

Steps for Cancellation Inside UAE:

  1. Check Employee Status

    • Ensure the employee has completed notice period (if applicable) and company dues are settled.

  2. Cancel Labor Card

    • Submit a Labor Contract Cancellation request through MOHRE

    • Required documents:

      • Original Labor Card

      • Employee passport

      • Employee Emirates ID

      • Letter of termination/resignation (if applicable)

      • Employer E-signature card

  3. Cancel Residency Visa

    • We will Apply through GDRFA (Dubai) or relevant immigration authority in other emirates.

    • Required documents:

      • Employee passport

      • Emirates ID (to be returned)

      • Copy of the labor contract cancellation

      • Employer Original Emirates id


2. Labor and Visa Cancellation (Outside UAE)

If the employee has left the UAE and the visa is still active:

Steps for Cancellation Outside UAE:

  • Entry Exit Report for Employee required

  1. Cancel Labor Card

    • Submit a Labor Contract Cancellation request through MOHRE

    • Required documents:

      • Original Labor Card

      • Employee passport

      • Employee Emirates ID

      • Letter of termination/resignation (if applicable)

      • Employer E-signature card

  2. Cancel Residency Visa

    • We will Apply through GDRFA (Dubai) or relevant immigration authority in other emirates.

    • Required documents:

      • Employee passport

      • Emirates ID (to be returned)

      • Copy of the labor contract cancellation

      • Employer Original Emirates id
